Is Mai free to use?
Yes. Each day you get free readings. When they run out, come back tomorrow, or top up to keep going any time.
How do I get more readings?
You can top up by bank transfer (scan the QR under Top up, or Settings → Buy readings). Credits are added automatically within seconds and never expire.
I transferred but don't see my credits yet?
It usually takes a few seconds. Tap “I’ve transferred” to check right away. If it still hasn’t arrived after a few minutes, contact us with your transfer reference (like MAI…) so we can reconcile.
Am I charged if a reading fails?
No. If a reading fails due to a technical error, the reading or credit is refunded automatically.
What is “Moon today”?
A reading that follows the real moon phase of the day — each phase brings a spread, a small ritual and a question to sit with. Still a mirror, never fortune-telling.
Do I need an account?
Not required. You can draw as a guest. Signing in keeps your journal synced across devices and usually gives a few more readings a day.
Is tarot accurate?
Tarot is a mirror for your feelings and choices, not a prophecy. A reading offers a calmer perspective — the decision is always yours.
What do reversed cards mean?
A reversed card often hints that its energy is turned inward, blocked for now, or asks for extra attention — not something bad. You can turn reversals on or off before a reading.
Can I change my card of the day?
Your daily card is fixed for the day, just for you — a message to sit with. Tomorrow brings a new one. You can log a mood and a few lines for the day.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your journal is visible only to you. We never sell data. IP addresses (if used for abuse prevention) are one-way hashed, never stored raw.
Does Mai replace therapy?
No. Mai is a gentle companion, not a medical or psychological service. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a professional.
